I believe that both the statements above mean the same (but not for everyone). Somehow, when experiments were done (according to Thaler and Sunstein, 2009), the results portrayed very significant insights. Majority of the patients who were asked whether or not to proceed with the operation (using Model A) would without much hesitation, accept to go through the procedure. But when another group of patients were asked (using Model B), all of them declined the whole idea of the operation procedure. Whether we realise it or not, both of the above statements actually mean the same. but the syntactic patterns of the statements actually influences our cerebrum cortex to digest it differently. this explains to us how important it is, for us to pay close attention to how we say things and to what way we articulate our speaking skills. So doctors out there, if you think you want business (or save people's life), by all means, take note of this. and to others, should you want to be an influential speaker someday, this info is (I believe) useful for a start.
